VedPred: Retrospective Validation of Clinical Decision Support Tools for Predicting Effectiveness Outcomes in Inflammatory Bowel Disease Patients Treated with Vedolizumab

Retrospective Validation of Clinical Decision Support Tools for Predicting Effectiveness Outcomes in Inflammatory Bowel Disease Patients Treated with Vedolizumab: this retrospective study validated two clinical decision support tools (CDSTs) for predicting effectiveness of vedolizumab in IBD patients with real world data from a Dutch hospital. The CDST predicted clinical, composite and steroid-free remission and adherence after 54 weeks well in patients with ulcerative colitis, but not in patients with Crohn's disease. Therefore, the CDST seems especially useful for choice of therapy in ulcerative colitis.
