Endocarditis registratie

De Endocarditis registratie omvat elke patiënt die binnen het endocarditis team wordt besproken, waarbij de diagnose ‘possible’ of ‘definite’ infectieuze endocarditis (IE) wordt gesteld. Hierbij geldt dat elke nieuwe ziekte-episode van een patiënt wordt aangeleverd. Onder IE wordt verstaan: een microbiële ontsteking van het intracardiale endotheel en/of lichaamsvreemd implantaat (zoals een pacemaker of kunstklep) waarbij voor diagnose de modified Duke_x0002_criteria en/of European Society of Cardiology (ESC) endocarditis criteria worden gebruikt.
