Ablatie registratie

De Ablatie registratie omvat verschillende typen interventies gericht op het behandelen van verschillende hartritmestoornissen. Dit omvat onder andere His-ablaties, katheterablaties voor aandoeningen zoals atriale flutter, atriumfibrilleren, AV-nodale re-entry tachycardie (AVNRT), atriale tachycardie, ventriculaire extrasystolen (VES), en ventriculaire tachycardieën. Ook ablatie voor accessoire verbindingen en minimaal-invasieve chirurgische ablaties voor atriumfibrilleren, uitgevoerd via een thoracoscopische benadering, worden geregistreerd. Elke ablatie of poging tot ablatie wordt vastgelegd vanaf het moment van de eerste huidincisie. Diagnostische elektrofysiologische onderzoeken zonder geplande ablatie worden niet opgenomen in de registratie. Minimaal-invasieve chirurgische ablaties worden geregistreerd als ze niet gecombineerd worden met andere openhartchirurgie, zoals klep- of bypassoperaties. In het geval van gecombineerde procedures worden deze interventies opgenomen in de cardiochirurgieregistratie en niet in de ablatie-registratie.
